FLOOD ART MURAL PROJECT

The Arts Farm has teamed with art teachers in twelve elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Cedar Rapids to collaborate on an artistic response to the devastating flood of 2008. With the generous support of Blick Art Materials, these teachers have assembled  a team of students to create a painting (4 ft. by 5 ft.) in reaction to a flood-related word.  Examples include the words loss, volunteer, immersion, strength, empathy, hope, etc.
